Mastercraft's branch servicing the Whakatane area, owned and operated by Mark & Sandra Bruce, owners of Beaver Woodwork Ltd, trading as Beaver Kitchens in Whakatane.

Mark and Sandra started their business in Whakatane over 15 years ago and have become renown both locally and nationally as a supplier of exceptional quality kitchen and bathroom cabinetry.

Mark brings an extensive and wide ranging skill set to the Mastercraft group. He is a qualified Cabinet Maker, Certified Kitchen Designer (CKDNZ) and has a diploma in Business Studies. Mark is currently a contract tutor for the National Kitchen and Bathroom Association and assessor for the Joinery Industry Training Organisation (JITO). Mark is a current member and past Chairman of the Certified Designers’ Society and a current member and on the Executive Board of the National Kitchen and Bathroom Association. In this capacity he holds the ‘manufacturing representative’ position. Mark is also contracted by the NKBA to provide professional opinion on complaints made against members.

Both Mark and his Designer, Shelly Waghorne, are multi design award winners and the only two Certified Kitchen Designers’ in the Bay of Plenty. Mark and his team recently won 'Best Kitchen Design' at the 2010 Master Joiner Awards.

Based in the Eastern Bay of Plenty Mark and his teams designs feature from as far a field as Rarotonga to remote as Ruatoria.
